Privacy and permissions
- No login is required for the extension.
- The extension does not read page content, browsing history, cookies, or tabs.
- Stored data is limited to the active temporary address, mailbox token, expiration time, and a random local device identifier.
- The extension only calls the MyTempMail public API at https://api.mytempmail.cc.
Appropriate use
Temporary inboxes are useful for low-risk signups, QA checks, trial forms, and downloads that require a one-time email address.
Do not use temporary email for banking, healthcare, government services, purchases, password recovery, legal notices, or long-term account ownership.

Yes. The extension uses the same free public MyTempMail limits as the website. Higher-volume developer features are not part of this extension release.

No. It follows the same public rate limits, mailbox lifetime, and refresh limits as the MyTempMail web app.

It uses storage to keep the active mailbox available between popup opens, clipboardWrite when the user clicks copy, and host access to call https://api.mytempmail.cc.
