Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Temp Mail collects, how temporary inbox data is handled, and what privacy limits users should understand.
Short version
Temp Mail is designed for short-term, receive-only email use. We do not ask you to create an account, and temporary mailbox data is removed after expiration. Do not use temporary mail for sensitive or long-term accounts.
Information you provide
You do not need to register to use Temp Mail. When you create or use a temporary address, the service processes the generated email address, mailbox token, incoming message metadata, and message content needed to display your inbox.
Automatically processed data
Like most web services, requests may include technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and basic security signals. This data is used to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect availability.
Email content and retention
Temporary inboxes are intended to expire. Messages sent to a temporary address are stored only as needed to display the inbox and are deleted after expiration or cleanup. You should not send private documents, passwords, financial information, health information, or important account recovery messages to a temporary mailbox.
Cookies and local storage
The app may use local storage to remember temporary mailbox tokens, language preference, and interface settings. These values help the site work in your browser and are not a substitute for a permanent account.
How we use data
We use processed data to generate addresses, receive and display messages, refresh inboxes, enforce expiration, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell temporary mailbox contents.
Third-party services
The service may rely on infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics, or delivery providers to operate. These providers may process technical data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Your choices
You can stop using a temporary mailbox at any time, let it expire, clear browser storage, or contact us with privacy questions. Because mailboxes are temporary, expired messages usually cannot be recovered.
